Comparing
resolutions by memory is notoriously inaccurate, which is one reason
why we do side-by-side comparisons in the theatre in the motion
picture industry.
However,
I am going to tell you flat out that to the best of my knowledge, a
torrent download that I am reviewing now of Thor Ragnarok has
higher/better resolution than what I saw in the theatre for a
so-called IMAX screening.
